Hello, I just picked up 3D Artist Magazine and much to my surprise found that it was just the standard version of Shade, which is not a problem since I had not even heard of it until recently. I simply want to find out if it will be useful for what I do. Great magazine though. I’ll be a regular reader.
wow, great to see this program again… i had given up we’d ever see a new English version.
i bought 7. wondered where i can download the manuals for 8.5?
i know this product has moved homes a bit over recent years. hope it stays here now and gets the support it deserves.

Because of space limitations, they couldn’t be included on the disk. You should check out the shadecamp.net wiki. This really starts with Shade 9, but the interface is little changed between 8.5 and 9 so the differences shouldn’t get in the way.

We’ve only just got that issue of 3D World in Australia. Are we therefore too late to take up the offer for Shade 8.5?
Its too late at this point. On the other hand…go out an get a copy of 3D World Magazine #123, because there’s even a better offer there.
